The Mama Nessie Colander Spoon is absolutely adorable! It’s super cute that it is able to stand up on its own in a pot and hangs out the edge like it is swimming or something. I don’t remember the Nessie Ladle, nor do I think any of my friends have it but both ladles are really cute! I would get these for myself and for my sister in a heartbeat. It comes in both green and turquoise, so I think I am just going to have to get both for myself! I like that it has perforations to drain what I am ladling out. It essentially saves a step and saves a dish from having to get the strainer out of the cabinet. Plus, my kitchen is really small, like a hallway / galley style – so the less counter space required to cook any meal, the better.

I’m always trying to have fun in the kitchen. I just wish I knew exactly what reinforced nylon is. I will take a look in the stores and get a real feel for this material. Just wondering it it’s flexible or brittle. It really is the cutest slotted spoon I’ve ever seen. I have orange and red spoons in different styles, but only one ladle. I am going to take a look at the miniature nessie colander, too. Thanks!
