Yeah, I don’t feel like this tent was designed with Eastcoast weather and cold nights as far as I can see with regards to design and durability. I do like the concept though, and appreciate the cool technology that went into making this.

The No Bake Tent was actually kind of cool, haha I’m glad I clicked that. Anyway, this seems like the perfect solution for when I save up to go to the Tomorrowland concert next year. It looks like it’d (comfortably) seat up to two people, I guess it really all depends on the size because I know the product description said: “up to three.” The extra pockets and built-in mosquito net were a nice touch, and I like how they put in more than one window. I see it says “fully-waterproof, ” but I wonder how much rain or flooding it can actually keep out when it comes to windy storms? For $200-$300 considering it’s made with 170T double-layered polyester I’d say this is some of the nicest materials possible to make a tent with in the current market, given the price-bracket and overall quality. Obviously, you get what you pay for, so if you want more rain protection or increased ventilation technology than you’ll have to pay more!

I can understand from a marketing perspective that they are targeting this tent towards the music festival crowd, but I would have designed the marketing for a larger segment of people. The Ohnana might be the best tent for most people, with the exception of those who are backpackers or those who camp in extremely cold and snowy winter conditions. Heck, even my kids would benefit from just camping in the backyard with their friends in this tent.

Even if it is not hot out, the fan circulating the air will help keep the tent and you smelling fresher.

I also usually only set my tent up where it will be shaded as much as possible. I have never been to a music festival, but at the large ones, there is not shady spots for everyone. You simply setup your tent wherever you can fit it in. I can see the Ohnana tent working great for musical festivals, but also for regular camping. The tent vents combined with the fan and the reflective sun material on the tent should combine for a much cooler camping experience. When it is too cold you can put on a jacket or get in your sleeping bag, but when it is too hot you can’t do much except jump in a creek to cool down. The Ohnana tent will drastically help people out to stay more comfortable when camping. I hate sweating, and when I go camping I don’t always have a shower to use so the sweat is even more irritating.
