It really is cool – but do you understand why? Tesla has the potential to completely change the way buying solar panels is. I’ve looked into it and it is messy as all hell. Affordability is basically hinged on whether you live in a deregulated energy state or not. If you don’t there’s tons of options for you – but you do not actually own the panels and it’ll pay you back by the time a quarter of your life has passed you by. Some of these programs don’t even have an option for a battery. Isn’t that the whole point? To move yourself away from being on the grid to help the environment? But some of these programs don’t really allow for that. They just throw in stupid monthly savings that equates to your morning coffee budget every month. Not to mention, have you seen what most people have as solar panels? They’re ugly. They do not look natural to the house at all.
