They were able to upgrade it in many ways including the display. They changed to a Pentile display so now it uses half as many pixels but you still get the same resolution. This one is much sharper than the original Vive, which was still extremely sharp.

Exciting to see them still actively developing and enhancing VR. This is so much more advanced than the simple Google Cardboard.
